Better compliance to drug therapy

Early work on controlled-release drug delivery and specialty chemicals opened the door for Echo founders in the pharmaceutical and healthcare related industries through a three-year leadership development and executive education joint venture with McGraw Hill’s Chemical Week magazine in the late 1980’s. David Hunter was editor and Al Babkow, head conferences and executive education. Ever since, chemical and healthcare rooted industries have been one of Echo’s core customer markets.

Participants included Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Amgen, 3M, P&G, Eli Lilly, Dow, DuPont, FMC, Genentech and numerous others.

Global channels for pharmaceutical drugs have broadened manufacturers’ responsibilities to keep driving and improving patient awareness and engagement, leading to better compliance to drug therapy. Today’s patients and consumers buy from a sundry of unconnected channels and sources all over the world.

Knowing what patients are using is challenging, especially from a digital perspective. Echo’s engagement programs and mobile dialog platform can help with both patient adherence and compliance, making our cognitive approach to awareness and decision-making relevant to medication management.
